The research hypotheses
The first hypothesis: Statistically significant differences are shown between the five sizes (S-M-L-XL-2XL) of the fourteen designs, in relation to the following axes: front- right side – left side – back- sleeve.
The second hypothesis: Statistically significant differences are shown between the fourteen designs in relation to the axes: front- right side – left side – back- sleeve in the five sizes (S-M-L-XL-2XL).
The third hypothesis: Statistically significant differences are shown between the fourteen designs between the six designs comprising printing and embroidery unit in the five sizes (S-M-L-XL-2XL).
The research aims: the research is aiming at:
Trying to define the problems of the design ratios change, in relation to the pattern dimensions following carrying out grading process on the pattern before the production process initiation.
Presenting suggestions for 3D design, to be tested before production, without the need of carrying out the sample with all its stated measurements.
Reaching certain criterion, to be employed by the specialists upon establishing certain designs to be graded to the smaller and larger sizes, without the need of carrying them out in advance to verify their matching the basic design ratios.
The research results
Statistically differences were shown between the five sizes (S-M- L-XL-2XL) of the fourteen designs in: front – right side-left side- back- sleeve. The above-mentioned designs could be adjusted through the 3D presentation.
